Ron Sering - Bio

A full time professional writer since 1989, Ron has written on diverse nonfiction subjects, including  water resource management, alternative energy, various technology subjects, art, and travel. His work has appeared in national newspapers, as well as regional publications such as Colorado Central magazine and Inside Ecuador

An alumni of the Odyssey Fantasy Writers Workshop and the Northern Colorado Writers Workshop, his dark fantasy and magical realist fiction has appeared in Cemetery Dance and the Webzines Ideomancer and Killer Works. He has been a semifinalist in the Writers of the Future contest and received an Honorable Mention in the Year Best Fantasy and Horror anthology.

He loves photography, and realized some time ago that apart from a decent camera and an eye for the photogenic, the most important factors for getting a good picture are the right time and location.

Ron currently lives in South Central Colorado with his artist wife, and their beloved Jack Russell terrier.
